Getting Started
UFLIP is an online platform that connects professional ticket resellers (Brokers) with a network of verified independent contractors (Flippers) who manually acquire tickets from primary sources on your behalf.
Think of it as crowdsourced ticket acquisition at scale. You post what you want, set your parameters, and our network competes to get it for you.
UFLIP uses real, verified people making manual purchases. Every Flipper is identity-verified and uses their own legitimate accounts. This means:
- Full compliance with the BOTS Act and ticketing platform terms
- No risk of bot detection or automated purchase blocks
- Real consumer behavior that doesn't trigger security systems
- Diverse geographic distribution across the US
UFLIP supports all major event types and box offices:
- Concerts and music festivals
- Sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college)
- Theater and Broadway
- Comedy shows
- Special events and experiences
We work with Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, and virtually every primary ticketing platform.
No minimum volume requirement. However, UFLIP works best for brokers who are actively buying across multiple events. The platform is designed for scale, so you'll get the most value if you're regularly acquiring inventory.
Pricing & Fees
Full Transparency: All fees are detailed below and in your Terms of Service. UFLIP provides 30 days notice before any fee changes.
There is a one-time setup fee of $2,500 due upon account activation. This is non-refundable and covers account configuration, POS integration, and onboarding.
Every ticket purchase includes two components:
| Fee Type | Amount | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Transaction Fee | 7% | Calculated on all-in box office cost (face value + fees) |
| Bid Fee | $4 minimum | Creates fairness on the platform. The highest bid wins. |
Example: For a $100 ticket with a $4 bid: You pay $100 (cost) + $7 (7% transaction) + $4 (bid) = $111 total
Additional fees apply for specific services:
| Service | Fee |
|---|---|
| Buy-It-Now | Starting at $10/ticket |
| Private Sale (Flipper exclusivity) | From $8/ticket |
| Buyer Assist (UFLIP manages purchase) | From $10/ticket |
| Fan Club Membership | Cost of membership |
| Ticket Insurance (optional) | 5% of fees |
| TradeDesk Fulfillment | $0.50/ticket |
| Hard Ticket Shipping | $15/ticket minimum |
| After Hours Fulfillment (after 7 PM CST) | $10/ticket |
| Ticket Retransfer | $5/order |
| Refund Request Processing | $20/order |
Standard digital delivery is included at no extra cost.
Bids are how we create a fair platform for brokers when competing for tickets.
How it works:
- When a Flipper submits a set of carted tickets, brokers bid against each other
- The highest bid wins the tickets
- Once a winning bid is placed, the Flipper is notified to complete checkout
Bid levels:
- $4 minimum: Standard events
- $6-$10: High-demand events or when you want priority treatment
- Custom bids: For major on-sales where you want maximum Flipper attention and are willing to outbid competitors
Higher bids not only help you win auctions—they also incentivize more Flippers to work your events.
Account Funding
UFLIP offers several funding options:
| Method | Fee | Details |
|---|---|---|
| ACH Transfer | FREE | Manual or automated. No processing fees. |
| Credit Card (via Bill.com) | 2.9% | Per-transaction fee charged by Bill.com |
| Wire Transfer | $15/wire | Standard bank wire fee |
All funds are held in FDIC-insured banking institutions.
Yes. You can maintain a cash balance in your account. UFLIP will agree on a minimum balance with you during onboarding. Purchases are automatically deducted from your balance.
Alternative: Brokers can also pay with a credit card in lieu of prefunding by putting a card on file.
Payment terms and late fees:
- Due date: All amounts due within 24 hours of purchase
- 48-hour grace period: No penalty
- After 48 hours: 3% late fee on the deficiency
- After 10 days: Additional 10% penalty; UFLIP may suspend purchasing and fulfillment
Yes. You can request a refund of any unused balance at any time. UFLIP processes refunds within 3 business days of written request, less any amounts you owe to UFLIP.
Bidding & Buying
Here's how it works:
- Broker broadcasts an event: You post the event to our Flipper network
- Communicate parameters: You communicate sections, rows, quantities, and other requirements to Flippers to ensure quality inventory
- Flippers submit carted tickets: Flippers see your broadcast and submit carted tickets into UFLIP
- Bid on seats you want: Review submissions and bid on the carted seats that match your needs. The highest bid wins.
- Automatic fulfillment: Purchased tickets automatically flow to your POS
Ownership transfers to you when UFLIP sells you the tickets. From that point forward, you assume all risks of ownership, including price fluctuations, event changes, and marketplace compliance.
When a Flipper submits tickets, here's how the auction works:
- Auction starts: The auction lasts for 2 minutes
- No bids: If no one bids, the tickets are automatically rejected
- Bid placed: When a bid is clicked, the auction time reduces to 1 minute
- Buy It Now: If Buy It Now is clicked, the auction ends in 1 second
Buy It Now is a way for Brokers to end the auction immediately. It allows you to purchase the tickets before another broker outbids you.
If multiple brokers hit Buy It Now at the same time, the highest bid wins. If both bids are the same amount, the first bid wins.
UFLIP designates certain events as "High-Risk" when there's elevated probability of ticket cancellation due to box office practices (strict enforcement, identity verification, geographic restrictions, etc.).
High-Risk designation is shown in the Portal. The main difference is in refund policy: if High-Risk tickets are cancelled through no fault of the Flipper, you only get the box office cost back, not UFLIP fees.
A Private Sale gives you exclusive access to a Flipper's submissions for a specific event. Instead of competing with other brokers in the auction, tickets submitted by that Flipper come directly to you.
How it works:
- You reserve a Flipper exclusively for your event
- Their submissions bypass the general auction
- You get first rights to everything they cart
Private Sales start at $8/ticket and are ideal for high-priority events where you want guaranteed access without bidding wars.
Broker Assistance is a white-glove service where UFLIP manages the entire ticket acquisition process for you.
What's included:
- UFLIP coordinates Flippers on your behalf
- We handle bidding and purchase decisions within your parameters
- You set your budget, sections, and quantity limits—we execute
Broker Assistance starts at $10/ticket and is perfect for brokers who want results without actively managing on-sales.
Yes. Brokers can add as many buyers as they want to watch events and buy tickets. Each buyer can operate independently within your account, watching different events and placing bids.
Yes. There are many strategies for acquiring tickets using UFLIP, and this is one of them. Having multiple buyers watch the same event can increase your coverage and reaction time during fast-moving on-sales.
Cancellations & Refunds
Please read carefully: Refund policies vary based on the reason for cancellation. UFLIP does not provide replacement tickets or cover marketplace penalties.
If an entire event is cancelled:
- Box office cost: Refunded to you (once UFLIP recovers it from the box office)
- UFLIP fees (transaction + bid): NOT refunded
Note: UFLIP fees are for the service of acquiring tickets. Even if the event is cancelled, the acquisition service was performed. UFLIP refunds the purchase only after the funds have been collected from the box office. We do not refund before we have received the money.
If your tickets are cancelled but the event still happens:
- Box office cost: Fully refunded
- All UFLIP fees: Fully refunded
Important: UFLIP does not supply replacement tickets and is not responsible for box office penalties or fees.
UFLIP will notify you as soon as we become aware of a cancellation. You will receive information regarding the cancelled tickets. It is your responsibility to update your POS and/or find replacements.
For tickets marked as High-Risk that are cancelled for reasons other than Flipper Negligence:
- Box office cost: Refunded (upon recovery)
- UFLIP fees: NOT refunded
This is why High-Risk events are clearly labeled. You're accepting elevated cancellation risk when purchasing High-Risk inventory.
If an event is rescheduled (not cancelled):
- Your tickets remain valid for the new date
- No automatic refunds are provided
If you want UFLIP to request a refund:
- You must communicate your desire to cancel to UFLIP
- UFLIP charges $20/order to process the refund request
- UFLIP keeps all UFLIP fees regardless of refund outcome
- UFLIP does not guarantee cancellations will be approved by the box office
Ticket Insurance is an optional 5% fee that provides additional coverage. If the event does not occur, you receive:
- 80% of the transaction fee refunded
- Cost of the tickets refunded
Note: Bid fees are not refunded with insurance. This is worth considering for major purchases where event cancellation would significantly impact you.
No. UFLIP does not provide replacement tickets or cover marketplace penalties, lost profits, or other damages resulting from cancelled tickets. Our liability is strictly limited to the refunds described above.
UFLIP is not responsible if the delivery methods on a ticket change by the box office. UFLIP will try to rectify the situation, but is not responsible for this.
For example, if mobile tickets get changed to Will Call, UFLIP will attempt to get the name changed, but cannot guarantee any box office outcome.
Fulfillment
UFLIP manages all fulfillment. Our operations team handles ticket transfers based on your delivery instructions.
Delivery methods include: electronic transfer (barcode, PDF, mobile transfer, wallet link) or physical shipment depending on ticket type.
When automation is working properly, tickets typically sync to your POS within 30 minutes to 1 hour after purchase. Timing can vary based on box office and fulfillment method.
Box offices may impose delays on ticket availability or transfer. UFLIP is not responsible for missed in-hand dates resulting from box office release schedules.
Delayed fulfillment is prioritized by event date: Events within 24 hours are worked first, then 48 hours, then 72 hours, and so on. Brokers may request fulfillment sooner and that is prioritized situationally.
Standard digital delivery is free. Additional fees apply for:
- TradeDesk fulfillment: $0.50/ticket
- Hard ticket shipping: $15/ticket minimum
- After hours fulfillment (after 8 PM CST): $10/ticket (waived within 24 hours of event)
- Ticket retransfer: $5/order
- Link generation: $5 to $10/ticket
Integrations
UFLIP integrates with major point of sale systems:

Our team configures the integration during onboarding. Once connected:
- Approved purchases automatically create inventory records
- Ticket details, barcodes, and PDFs sync to your system

We support all major box offices and ticketing platforms. Our Flippers are trained to work across the full spectrum of primary ticket sources, including Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, Eventbrite, and venue-specific box offices.
